Senior Legal Adviser - Public Sector Organisation - South West - 12 Month FTC Venn Group is pleased to be partnering with a public sector organisation which is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Legal Advisor to join its in-house legal team.This is a full-time position for a fixed term of 12 months, starting as soon as possible. It will involve providing expert legal advice on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters. Our client operates a hybrid working business model and the successful candidate will be required to attend the office in Bristol or London twice per week.The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister with at least 3 years'' PQE. Whilst experience in higher education and/or central government would be advantageous, candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds with relevant regulatory and public law experience will be considered. Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Supporting the Legal Senior Leadership Team in tasks relating to the operation of the legal function and leadership of specific initiativesProviding legal advice and support for a broad range of regulatory matters relevant to the functions of the organisationWorking collaboratively with internal legal and policy colleagues, as well as external legal support, owning these key relationships and advising at the most senior level in the organisationManaging junior colleagues in the provision of legal complex legal advice in a range of areas, ..... full job details .....
