Opportunity for Social Work or Social Care Academics to Teach on D55 – temporary position(s) until end April 2026 (up to 4 sessions a week including a Thursday)

Are you an experienced academic in Social Work or Social Care with a passion for teaching at the doctoral level? Would you like to increase your sessions for one term?

We are looking for qualified and dedicated individuals to join our team on the Professional Doctorate in Advanced Practice and Research in Social Work and Social Care (D55), based at the Tavistock.

Key Details:• Up to 4 teaching sessions per week• Face-to-face teaching at the Tavistock on alternate Thursdays• Opportunity to shape the learning and development of doctoral students at various stages of their academic journey

What We''re Looking For:• Experience in practitioner research within social work or social care• Expertise in teaching and learning at the doctoral level• Strong knowledge and skills in social work and social care practice• Ideally research active or with extensive academic experience

The role will involve facilitating group seminars, mentoring doctoral students, and contributing to the academic growth of candidates across the course. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the development of future leaders in the field.
