Must be UK-based. Unfortunately, sponsorship is not available.Are you an experienced Node.js Developer with a passion for building scalable, cloud-based applications? Our client, a fast-growing SaaS company in Manchester, is seeking a Senior / Lead Node.js Developer to join their engineering team and play a key role in shaping their product roadmap.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of high-quality, scalable backend solutions using Node.js and TypeScript

Mentor and support other developers, driving best practices and technical excellence

Work in a modern cloud environment with GCP / AWS / Azure services

Contribute to DevOps adoption, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation with Docker

Collaborate on integrating AI/ML solutions to enhance product features and customer experience

Tech Stack / Experience Needed

Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript

3+ years'' experience with a modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js)

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation)

Hands-on experience with Docker

Solid knowledge of GCP, AWS, or Azure

Proven track record building and scaling SaaS applications (5+ years)

Experience with AI frameworks, APIs, or services (desirable)

Strong understanding of Agile practices
