Our client, an Oxford University spin-out working in a booming market and taking the next step in their development are actively recruiting a Senior Laser Systems Engineer to take full system-level ownership of next-generation laser-photonics products, leading them from early concept through to robust customer deployment. This is a technical leadership role spanning architecture, integration, verification, and productisation of complex opto-electro-mechanical systems. The Senior Laser Systems Engineer drives system architecture, requirements, and detailed design; integrate femtosecond laser sources with precision motion systems, adaptive optics, electronics, and machine vision; and develop the verification plans and test frameworks that turn prototypes into deliverable products. Working closely with Software, Hardware, and manufacturing partners, you''ll balance photonics, precision mechanics, reliability, and manufacturability to shape Opsydia''s technical roadmap.
