Senior Backend Laravel Developer | Fully Remote (UK) | £60,000 - £70,000This is a Back End software engineering role within a product-led SaaS company building platform used by a wide range of customers. The platform delivers an end-to-end solution covering core operational workflows, user management, and integrated payment functionality, supporting multiple different client types across various industries.The engineering team works on a fully modernised, cloud-hosted SaaS platform built using contemporary frameworks and best practices, with a focus on scalable architecture, API-first design, and test-driven development.Key technical focus areas:Backend development in PHP (Laravel framework)API design and third-party integrations (payments, SaaS tools, external services)Database design and optimisation (MySQL)Frontend collaboration using Vue.js and JavaScriptBuilding and maintaining scalable, multi-tenant SaaS infrastructureRole focus:Full life cycle feature development from design through to production deploymentEnhancing and evolving a core SaaS platform used by multiple external customersIntegrating third-party APIs and services into existing systemsWriting clean, maintainable, well-tested codeWorking closely with cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile environmentHelping shape and influence a more AI-forward engineering approach within the teamAI andamp; Engineering Direction:Actively using AI tools such as Claude to support development workflows, problem-solving, ..... full job details .....
