This is a new and exclusive opportunity for a strong Java software development leader to join a banking client as they build out their front office software development team focused on front office strategic Sales and Trading Derivatives platforms.Location: London City and hybrid/remote working options.Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Front Office Derivatives IT Development team (6-8 developers), ensuring alignment with global system architecture and business goals.Own the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle for the complete Front Office Derivatives technology stack, from inception through deployment.Collaborate with front office stakeholders and trading desks to understand requirements and deliver high-impact solutions.Provide agile leadership and hands-on participation as needed in a Java/Python/C# environment.Qualifications

Experienced people manager with a track record of building successful development teams.Experience working with front office stakeholders and within Front Office Trading systems.Strong Java focus; experience with Python and/or C# a plus.Employment Details
