Job Title: Senior Java Developer Location: Bromley and London - Hybrid (3 days in office is essential) Contract: 12 months with possible extension for one more year. Rate: Highly competitive Status: Inside IR35Working pattern: Full time Overview In connection with the ongoing support and development of the Futures and Options and Collateral business for Global Markets, we are looking for a highly experienced, strong Java and Developer to join the technology teams in Bromley, London working on a range of applications for Collateral. TECHNICAL SKILLS: Developing software applications using Java/J2EE frameworks Enterprise/Core Java(J2SE, J2EE) , JMS, Spring Framework, JDBC, and Java ORM technologies Experience in Database programming tools (Oracle Database - SQL/PLSQL), Experience using version control/project tracking/CI/CD tools like GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins and Ansible. Experience in design, development, testing and implementation of microservices and Web based applications. Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and SDM model for CI/CD processes and associated tools Serve as a development team member for Level 3 Production Support issue resolution Experience interacting with Business product owners and end users to define new software requirements and triage any issues that arise Demonstrated ability to work effectively under minimal supervision Experience working with Agile methodology and can effectively work as part of a wider development team spread ..... full job details .....
