Senior IT TechnicianLocation: Wolverhampton + Other local siteSalary: 38,000 - 45,000Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (Early finish on Fridays) The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior IT Technician to take ownership of the IT infrastructure across multiple UK sites.This is a hands-on senior role responsible for maintaining and improving the organisation''s IT environment, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable and aligned with operational and commercial objectives. Supporting approximately 120 users across engineering, manufacturing, finance and commercial teams, you will act as the primary escalation point for infrastructure matters and play a key role in delivering IT improvements and projects.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and maintain the Group IT infrastructure across all UK sites including servers, endpoints, networking and cloud environments.Ensure high levels of system availability, performance and resilience.Lead cybersecurity measures including MFA, endpoint protection, patch management and vulnerability remediation.Maintain and test backup and disaster recovery processes.Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support and act as the main escalation point for infrastructure issues.Manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune and Exchange Online.Maintain Windows Server environments including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.Oversee network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, VLANs and Wi-Fi ..... full job details .....
