Senior IT Support Technician / Team Supervisor role at Grainger and Worrall. 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:00 - 16:30). Salary: Up to £30k, dependent on experience. The role combines hands-on IT work with mentoring and supervising a helpdesk team.What You’ll Be Doing

Supervising, mentoring, and motivating a talented helpdesk team to deliver outstanding support.Setting clear goals and performance standards that align with company values and objectives.Coaching team members for growth and development, celebrating wins and guiding through challenges.Ensuring timely, accurate, and empathetic customer service every day.Recruiting, onboarding, and nurturing new team members.Handling escalated technical issues and contributing to continuous service improvement.Establishing best practices and driving excellence across the support process.Creating insightful reports on team productivity and customer feedback.What You’ll Need

A recognised IT qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows (XP/7/10/11) and Office products.Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).Experience with Active Directory and server operations (user accounts, backups) is a plus.A methodical, quality-focused approach to problem-solving.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you’re a natural collaborator.A passion for customer service and a calm, confident presence in busy environments.Current valid driving licence and ability to travel to site.Benefits
