Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

As-a-Senior-IT-Infrastructure-Engineer,-you-will-play-a-key-role-within-the-Infrastructure-team,-supporting-the-design,-implementation-and-management-of-core-ICT-systems-across-the-organisation.-You-will-work-across-servers,-cloud-platforms,-networking,-security-and-disaster-recovery,-ensuring-systems-remain-secure,-resilient-and-highly-available.

Key-Responsibilities:

• Design,-implement-and-maintain-enterprise-infrastructure-solutions-across-servers,-cloud-platforms,-networks-and-related-technologies.
• Support-the-ongoing-development-of-a-secure-and-adaptable-infrastructure-environment-across-multiple-locations.
• Manage-and-maintain-Microsoft-based-technologies-including-Active-Directory,-Federation-Services,-Exchange-and-Windows-Server-environments.
• Support-Azure-and-Microsoft-Cloud-services,-including-Entra-ID-and-associated-technologies.
• Assist-with-infrastructure-lifecycle-planning,-upgrades-and-future-technology-improvements.
• Support-the-design,-testing-and-maintenance-of-Disaster-Recovery-and-business-continuity-solutions.
• Manage-backup-and-replication-solutions,-including-Veeam-Backup-and-Replication.
• Support-network-infrastructure-including-routers,-firewalls,-TCP/IP-and-connectivity-solutions.
• Work-closely-with-Information-Security-teams-to-maintain-a-security-first-approach-across-infrastructure-architecture.
• Support-monitoring,-incident-resolution-and-root-cause-analysis-for-infrastructure-and-security-related-issues.
• Maintain-accurate-documentation-and-ensure-all-changes-are-recorded-through-ITSM-processes.

Skills-&-Experience-Required:

• Strong-experience-working-within-an-enterprise-IT-infrastructure-environment.
• Expert-knowledge-of-Active-Directory,-Federation-Services,-Exchange-and-Microsoft-Server-technologies.
• Experience-working-with-Microsoft-Azure,-Entra-ID-and-wider-Microsoft-Cloud-services.
• Strong-understanding-of-virtualisation-technologies-including-VMware-and-Microsoft-Hyper-V.
• Experience-managing-network-infrastructure,-including-routers,-firewalls-and-TCP/IP.
• Experience-with-backup-and-replication-technologies,-ideally-Veeam.
• Understanding-of-security-technologies-including-MFA,-antivirus,-SIEM-platforms-and-Network-Access-Control.
