Senior Internal Communications OfficerHarrow £250.00 per day PAYE + 28 days holiday (£65,000.00 per annum)Ongoing contractHybridLocation: HA3 Role Reporting into the Head of Communications, you will be a key player in the Council s Communications function Develop, implement and evaluate integrated communications strategies and solutions to promote and support Harrow s services, policies and objectives, manage reputation, change behaviour and promote resident engagement.Uphold and promote the reputation of Harrow Council in traditional and digital mediaAdvise senior officers, members, colleagues and external partners on a range of reputational and communications issuesWork with senior officers and senior councillors, including the Leader and Portfolio Holders on public affairs and lobbying campaignsContribute to the communications teams income generation targetsAnswer media enquiries in a timely fashion and effectively use the media to promote Council services, policies and objectivesPlay a key role in the production of high-quality promotional materials and Harrow s main communications channels (internal and external) including the Harrow People magazine, MyHarrow enewsletter, social digital media, the website, intranet, yammer, and staff newsletter.Identify positive stories about the work of the council and its staff, through effective relationships across the Council and Members.Support/lead on the delivery of consultations corporatelyAct as the Council s lead liaison ..... full job details .....
