LSE is committed to building a diverse, equitable and truly inclusive university.Extended EducationSenior Insights and Market Research ManagerThis is a fixed term appointment for 3 years.Salary from £53,949 to £62,160 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £69,073 pa inclusive of London allowanceLSE Extended Education is a highly successful and commercially focused division which delivers a range of programmes, including the Summer School and Transnational Education (TNE) via our Global Programmes to diverse global audiences, bringing combined revenues of £45m to the School annually.With over 9,500 students in 40+ countries studying LSE-designed degrees either at Recognised Teaching Centres (RTC) or Online, we’ve built a proud history of opening access to world-class education. We’re embarking on a major transformation programme that will reshape the future of LSE’s distance and online degrees.We are looking to recruit a Senior Insights and Market Research Manager to play a leading role in using data and market insight to inform our strategic direction and the development of new business and products, including courses and degrees. This new post will appeal to commercially focused individuals who are confident working with ambiguity, and a self-starter who is comfortable shaping the role in response to strategy. The postholder will manage a range of insights projects and contribute to the growth and development of our programmes.SkillsThe ideal candidate will have skills and experience including:Proven experience in an insights and market research role at management level, ideally within a commercial setting, higher education or a similarly complex environmentAbility to independently synthesise and present market insight and data in a succinct and accurate way to inform strategic decision makingProven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholdersStrong knowledge of the TNE landscape and understanding opportunities and trends in this areaWe offer an attractive pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working and excellent training and development opportunities.Please note
