Job summaryOur client is currently seeking Infrastructure Planner with 5+ years experience to join their dynamic team in Sheffield. This is an opportunity that allows for hybrid working, offering flexibility in office location across the UK.Key skills required for this roleImportantKey Responsibilities:Support the planning team on a diverse range of infrastructure projectsAssist with preparing consent applications and take responsibility for specific aspects of projectsFor smaller projects, manage the delivery according to client objectives and timescalesCollaborate with engineers, environmental teams, and communication specialists to lead the planning consenting process from feasibility to implementationDevelop and maintain working relationships within the organisation and in external forumsJob Requirements:Degree and/or masters in Town Planning and a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI)Good knowledge of relevant planning legislation and planning policyExperience in producing outputs required to support infrastructure consenting or planning policy, such as consents strategies, application documents, and evidence base documentsAbility to articulate complex issues concisely, write reports, present effectively, and manage client relationshipsProven project management skills with a successful record in planning and delivery of projects or tasksCommercial and financial management skills applicable to profitable project managementExperience in business development, including successfully bidding for work
