Senior Infrastructure Engineer Glasgow / FlexibleVIQU have partnered with a leading industrial systems integrator at the forefront of digital transformation in energy, renewables, water and manufacturing. This is a permanent role for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with SME-level knowledge across Windows Server, VMware/Hyper-V, and Network infrastructure supporting critical OT environments.Key Responsibilities of the Lead Engineer: Design and implement secure OT systems involving Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Virtualisation (VMWare or Hyper-V) and Network infrastructureDefine system architectures, hardware specs, and network topologies for project deliveryLead on documentation including FDS, SDS and test specsConduct FATs (internal and customer), reviews, and QA processesAct as a subject matter expert during pre-sales, project delivery, and stakeholder engagementWork closely with internal cyber teams to ensure systems are secure by design Key Requirements of the Lead Engineer: 5+ years'' experience with Windows Server, VMware/Hyper-V, and Switch/Firewall config preferably in OT or industrial environmentsStrong background in cyber-secure systems delivery (IEC 62443 or similar standards)Confident producing technical documentation and leading test phasesFamiliarity with network design (RSTP, PRP, HSR) and communication protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, etc.)Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when needed Bonus Experience: SCADA platform knowledge (COPA-DATA ..... full job details .....
