Senior Infrastructure Engineer (NetDevOps)

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our public sector client, who is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (NetDevOps) for an initial ten-month assignment with the option to extend.Location: Hybrid working - Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham or Blackpool (60% site attendance required)About the role: You will be responsible for designing, building, and evolving large-scale enterprise network platforms, with a strong focus on modern, automated, and cloud-integrated infrastructure.The ideal candidate will hold Active SC clearance and have a strong background in delivery Infrastructure/Network Engineering support, with the following skills and experience:Experience in a Network/Infrastructure Engineer role in large-scale enterprise environments.Experience delivering engineering solutions.Experience of Enterprise Networking EngineeringExperience of Firewall and Security Technologies (Palo Alto Firewalls, Zero Trust andamp; Secure Network Design Principals)Experience of Data Centre andamp; Network Architecture (VXLAN/EVPN, Load balancing technologies ie F5 BIG-IP)Experience in network automation (Python or Ansible)Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IAC), ie TerraformExperience working on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI or ..... full job details .....
