Senior Infrastructure Engineer Location: Gloucester (Hybrid Working)Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Excellent Benefits Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in supporting, developing and enhancing their global IT infrastructure. This is a senior technical position, ideal for someone who enjoys remaining hands-on whilst taking ownership of enterprise infrastructure projects, driving technical improvements and acting as a senior escalation point across the IT function. Working within a collaborative IT team, you''ll help ensure business-critical systems remain secure, resilient and highly available while contributing to the future direction of the organisation''s infrastructure. What you''ll be doing Designing, implementing and maintaining secure, scalable IT infrastructure across multiple sites. Supporting enterprise networking, virtualisation, server infrastructure and Microsoft Azure cloud services. Leading the technical delivery of infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations and new technology implementations. Acting as the senior technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues and major incidents. Performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term improvements to increase resilience and performance. Supporting disaster recovery planning, business continuity testing and infrastructure resilience initiatives.
