Senior Infrastructure Engineer

A leading global investment management organisation is undertaking a significant technology transformation, modernising its infrastructure estate from traditional data centres to a secure, scalable and cloud-first hybrid environment.We are seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in this journey. This is a highly technical, hands-on engineering position focused on designing, delivering and modernising enterprise infrastructure across both on-premises and Azure cloud platforms.This is an opportunity to move beyond BAU support and become a key contributor to strategic infrastructure programmes that will shape the future technology landscape of a globally recognised financial institution. The RoleAs a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering resilient, secure and scalable infrastructure solutions across data centre, network, cloud and security domains.Working alongside Infrastructure, Cloud, Security and Architecture teams, you will lead technical initiatives including cloud adoption, infrastructure transformation, hybrid connectivity, modernisation projects and automation.Key responsibilities include:Designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure solutions across data centre and Azure environments.Leading migration and transformation initiatives from on-premise infrastructure to hybrid cloud architectures.Building and managing secure hybrid connectivity between data centres and Microsoft Azure.Enhancing networking, ..... full job details .....
