HM54: Senior Infrastructure Engineer Location: Cardiff (Remote possible - but will be expected on site every quarter) Salary: Competitive Day Rate Contract Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. Duties and Responsibilities: You will be responsible for delivering and maintaining secure, resilient infrastructure and platform services across the business. You will champion security best practices, ensuring that systems are designed, configured and operated to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of organisational data and services. Taking a user, service and risk-focused approach, you will drive continuous improvement and automation to strengthen security, resilience and operational effectiveness. Working as part of a team of infrastructure specialists and engineers, you will build, administer, support and maintain secure and compliant solutions in line with departmental policies, security standards and industry best practice. A significant proportion of the role will involve working with teams across the organisation to provide expert advice on secure environments, configuration management, identity and access management, infrastructure hardening, vulnerability management, monitoring and incident response.
