Senior Information Governance Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Information Governance professional with experience of advising on complex data protection issues and dealing with Freedom of Information and data protection requests to contribute to our data protection and information governance work plan.The Role

The post holder will join a small, forward-thinking team and will help to make sure the GPhC complies with data protection, freedom of information and other information rights legislation. This role includes

deputising for the Data Protection Officer , and you will take the

lead on a variety of important projects and work , such as responding to information requests, advising on information governance aspects of procurement activity, and facilitating training. You will also advise on data sharing, data protection impact assessments and records management improvements.This role is subject to a

basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)

check as part of our pre-employment due diligence.The successful applicant will:

Help develop policies and deliver solutions that improve how we manage and protect data.Act as a

key advisor

across the organisation, providing expert guidance on data risks, impact assessments, compliance improvements and investigating incidents.Build close working relationships

with internal and external stakeholders across the whole organisation.Have the
