Senior Industrialisation Engineer (Weekend Day Shifts) | South East London | Permanent | -65,0000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

We are looking for an experienced Senior Industrialisation Engineer to lead the introduction of new products and manufacturing processes into production, supporting the industrialisation of high-reliability, technically complex products on a weekend day shift pattern.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead New Product and Process Introduction (NPI) projects from development through to production.
• Develop mechanical manufacturing solutions, including assembly processes, tooling and equipment.
• Create and manage technical documentation, procedures, tooling drawings and process documentation.
• Validate new tooling, equipment and processes to ensure safety, quality and production readiness.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver NPI milestones.
• Drive continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, manufacturing failures and customer product-return investigations.
• Manage NPI releases, design reviews, PFMEA, risk assessments and project reporting.

Please note this role is working Weekend Day Shifts, including Friday, Saturday and Sunday - Total of 33 working hours per week.

About You

• Degree-qualified engineer with mid level experience in manufacturing engineering, product industrialisation or a similar environment.
• Strong background in mechanical process engineering and NPI.
• Good understanding of electromechanical manufacturing and production processes.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S and PFMEA.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, R&D, Production, Quality and Supply Chain teams.
• Experience in a Senior/Lead Engineer or Project Engineering role coupled with leadership experience.
