Senior Indirect Procurement Manager

Role OverviewAs a Senior Indirect Procurement Manager, you will lead the development and execution of a global indirect procurement strategy within a dynamic multinational organization. You will manage a wide portfolio of indirect categories, including professional services, facilities management, IT, logistics, travel, marketing, and corporate services.
The role requires collaboration with stakeholders across global regions—including Europe, the UK, North America, and Australasia—to drive value creation, implement strategic sourcing initiatives, and deliver operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing and category management for indirect procurement categories across multiple geographies.
Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with global objectives for cost efficiency, risk management, and supplier innovation.
Conduct market research, spend analysis, benchmarking, and risk assessments to support sourcing decisions.
Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and compliance.
Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, supplier rationalization, and process improvements.
Collaborate with internal departments such as Finance, IT, Legal, and HR to ensure alignment and compliance.
Oversee tender processes, develop RFPs, evaluate proposals, and negotiate commercial terms.
Support ESG and sustainability objectives through ethical and responsible sourcing practices.
Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier data across systems.
Prepare reports and dashboards to inform decision-making at the leadership level.
Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of procurement tools, processes, and governance.
Experience and Qualifications
Extensive experience in indirect procurement, managing categories across regions and business units.
Proven ability to lead complex sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations.
Strong commercial and contractual management experience in a global corporate environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills at all organizational levels.
Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from procurement and spend data.
Background in manufacturing or industrial sectors preferred.
University degree or equivalent; professional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS) advantageous.
Proficiency with procurement tools and platforms (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa) and Excel.
