Senior Inclusion WorkerLocation: Wakefield, West Yorkshire Pay: 110 - 140 per day (depending on experience) Contract: Temp to Perm Start Date: ASAP Agency: Prospero Teaching About the RoleAs a Senior Inclusion Worker, you will:Build positive and trusting relationships with students aged 5-14.Support learners with SEMH, behavioural and additional learning needs.Lead targeted intervention programmes to improve engagement and attendance.Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, parents and external agencies.Manage challenging behaviour using restorative and trauma-informed approaches.Provide mentoring and one-to-one support to vulnerable students.Assist with safeguarding and welfare concerns, ensuring all procedures are followed.The Ideal Candidate Will HaveExperience working within an Alternative Provision, PRU, SEN setting or mainstream school pastoral team.Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.Experience supporting students with SEMH, ADHD, ASD or trauma-related needs.A calm, resilient and empathetic approach.Relevant qualifications in Youth Work, Education, Health and Social Care, Behaviour Support or a related field are desirable.Essential RequirementsEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).Right to work in the UK.Two professional references covering the last two years.Previous experience supporting young people in an education, youth work or care setting.What Prospero Teaching Can OfferOpportunity to secure a permanent ..... full job details .....
