Senior Impact Officer

Are you interested in identifying and nurturing real world benefit from academic research? The University is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (FHMS) as a Senior Impact Officer, supporting our university ambition to translate high quality research to real world impact and societal benefit. In this role, you will be based within the FHMS Faculty Research and Innovation Office (FRIO) on our Manor Park campus. You will play a key part in the preparing our route to success for REF 2029 in addition to our ongoing Impact activities. You will work closely with our academics, researchers and professional services colleagues, building strong relationships and really getting to know our research. The role Our Senior Impact Officers play a proactive role in facilitating and coordinating impact activity, being the first point of contact and galvanising the network of impact support across the university and beyond. In the role, you will confidently use your strong interpersonal and communication skills to stimulate discussion and share best practice around routes to impact and real world benefit. You will support the generation of impact case studies for future research assessment exercises and external audiences.
