Senior Hydrologist - Manchester Location: ManchesterSalary: £50,000 - £55,000 Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time A growing water and environmental consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Hydrologist to join its Manchester team. The role will involve delivering a varied portfolio of hydrology and water-sector projects, with particular exposure to water quality, storm overflows, catchment investigations and environmental assessment. The Role Lead the delivery of hydrology projects from inception through to completion. Undertake hydrological assessments, catchment analysis and flood hydrology studies. Deliver and support Storm Overflow Assessment Framework (SOAF) studies and storm overflow investigations. Analyse rainfall, river flow, water quality and wider environmental datasets. Prepare high-quality technical reports, assessments and supporting documentation. Provide technical input into water quality, wastewater and catchment management projects. Undertake flood frequency analysis, rainfall-runoff assessments and climate change assessments. Support projects for water companies, regulators, developers and public-sector clients. Undertake site visits and field investigations where required. Liaise directly with clients, regulators and other project stakeholders. Manage project programmes, budgets and technical deliverables.
