Robert WaltersGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.We are currently seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join a great HR team in Northampton. The main purpose of this role is to provide operational support to leaders, managers and colleagues to deliver a “best in class” HR service across the operations business. Ideally you will have worked in an operational environment currently/previously for example: engineering, FMCG, retail, logistics, manufacturing or similar.

The Role

Within this role your main responsibilities will include:

Supporting the delivery and implementation of our people strategy and continuing to enhance the quality of delivery of the People serviceEstablishing and developing relationships with people leaders and managers to understand strategies, plans and key challengesCoaching, advising, challenging and influencing to ensure that approaches are in line with policies, procedures, best practice and employment lawDelivering sound generalist HR operational adviceSupporting the implementation of change management processesContributing to the development of a new approach from the People Business Partner team, working collaboratively with colleagues and senior managers

Our Successful Candidate Will

Have strong knowledge of employment lawBe able to demonstrate excellent critical thinking and decision-making capabilitiesHave demonstrable experience of delivering a customer focused employee relations service at a strategic and operational levelHave comprehensive and up to date knowledge of employment legislation, regulations and standardsHave experience of analysing people metrics and developing systems to deliver quality information that supports business decisionsBe commercially aware with a focus on continuous improvement
