HR Generalist and Compliance Officer
to take ownership of the HR and compliance function across 3 sites. This is a
standalone role
at HR Manager/Advisory level, reporting to the Managing Director and supporting 3 Managers. You will oversee the full HR remit, with particular focus on employee relations, safer recruitment, compliance, and stakeholder management. You will also lead on HR policies, training, and inspection preparation, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards.
Advise and coach managers on employee relations, performance, and development mattersLead recruitment and onboarding, including assessment centres and staff inductionMaintain HR records and the Single Central RecordSupport staff development and engagement initiativesEnsure HR processes align with employment law and regulatory requirementsProvide practical compliance support for Ofsted inspectionsSupport creation and review of HR policies, with focus on practicality and business need
About You
Minimum 8 years\'' HR experience, including advisory or managerial responsibilityExperience in regulated environments (care sector experience beneficial but not essential)Strong skills in employee relations, coaching, and stakeholder managementConfident handling confidential information and sensitive issuesCIPD Level 5 desirable
Working Arrangements
First month: full-time onsite across all three homes (within 25 minutes of each other).Ongoing: hybrid working, 2-3 days per week onsite, with flexibility depending on business needs.
