Senior HR Advisor

Your new company A growing, private sector organisation is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join its supportive and down-to-earth People team on an initial six-month fixed-term contract. The organisation operates within a complex, matrix environment and is entering a further period of change and potential business growth. Due to this, the contract may be extended or develop into a permanent opportunity, (although this cannot be guaranteed at this stage). Your new role This is a highly visible and varied generalist position in which you will partner closely with managers across the organisation, building strong relationships and providing clear, pragmatic HR advice throughout the employee life-cycle. A significant part of the role will involve managing complex employee relations matters, including absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability and ill-health cases. You will provide employment law guidance, help managers understand and manage risk, and develop their capability to handle people matters confidently and consistently. Alongside case management, you will contribute to broader generalist activities and projects, including: Organisational change and team restructures Consultation, redundancy and TUPE processes Policy development and annual policy reviews Performance and absence management Organisational design activity Ad hoc People projects arising from business change and acquisition activity Supporting and developing other members of the ..... full job details .....
