We are keen to speak to qualified (or nearing) chartered or incorporated engineers who are passionate about delivering high-quality design solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for the preparation of feasibility studies, designs, scheme drawings and calculations; preparation of contract documents and specifications. The role will also include project planning, management and monitoring, and liaising with clients and contractors. A working knowledge of the DMRB, LTN1/20 and other current design standards is essential and use of design software including Civils 3D and/or MX is desirable.Providing a consistent high level technical design service;Providing support, training and guidance to other staff;Effective client liaison and communication;Reporting to the Highways Director;Liaising with other discipline team leaders to ensure technical integration; andFinancial and commercial managementExperience of working in a highway design office is essential.Qualifications
