Senior Highway Engineer

Our client, is currently seeking a Senior Highway Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers you the opportunity to work on a variety of significant highways, bridges, and infrastructure projects across the County alongside a highly collaborative and multi-disciplinary team.Key Responsibilities:Developing highway designs on multi-disciplinary projects through various stages of the project lifecycle.Ensuring projects are delivered to programme, budget, technical standards, and legal requirements.Providing guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians, contributing to their professional development.Assisting Project Managers with planning, programming, technical input, pricing of project briefs, proposals, and cost estimation.Preparing and reviewing design documentation, drawings, reports, and technical submissions.Working across a portfolio of varied multi-disciplinary projects simultaneously.Coordinating with engineering and technician resources to deliver work packages effectively.Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.Supporting site-based activities on an ad hoc basis, including supervision and monitoring contractor compliance with contract requirements.Job Requirements:Passion for design and a drive to develop innovative, practical engineering solutions.Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience within a highway design environment.Chartered Engineer preferred or ..... full job details .....
