      <description>Location: Essex | Salary: 50000.00-50000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Our client, a leader in the highways sector, is currently seeking a Senior Highway Engineer (Development Management) to join their team in Essex. This permanent, full-time role is focused on ensuring the design and construction of developers'' highway infrastructure works meet the standards required by the Highway Authority for adoption as public highways.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Highway Authority with consultations with the Local Planning Authority for proposed developmentsAgree detailed designs and ensure planning permission conditions/obligations are metAttend/Chair meetings and address site/design queries promptlyUndertake extensive stakeholder liaison both internally and externallyEnsure statutory processes are followed when necessaryInstruct legal agreements to adopt developers'' infrastructure works as public highwaysProvide timely and accurate advice on highway-related matters to various partiesManage and provide technical direction to team members on all aspects of highway servicesJob Requirements:Educated to degree level in a related subject or equivalent proven experience in highways and/or transportationEvidence of continuing professional development, ideally wit...</description>
