Senior Highway EngineerLondon3-month contract£300 - £320 per day, inside IR35 Are you an experienced Senior Highway Engineer looking for a new challenge?An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Highway Engineer, with experience in highway design and construction to join a busy client in London. This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £300 - £320 per day. Flexible working arrangements are available. Key Responsibilities: To lead the pre-construction, construction and delivery phases of highways, traffic and transport infrastructure projects Receive projects that have been developed through the Project Development Team and will take ownership of schemes during detailed design finalisation, construction package preparation and delivery. Responsible for ensuring designs are fully coordinated, technically compliant, cost-effective and ready for construction before overseeing all aspects of project delivery through the construction phase to substantial completion and handover. Provide technical leadership, project management, contractor management and construction oversight across a diverse portfolio of highways and public realm schemes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, within budget and in accordance with Council objectives, statutory requirements and best practice.
