Providing direct patient care including meeting hygiene, continence, nutrition, pressure area care and mobility needsTaking and recording patients'' vital signs, identifying and escalating changes to a patient''s conditionProviding one-to-one observation for high-risk or vulnerable patientsUndertaking training and competencies related to the role, such as ECGs, venepuncture, cannulation, and other departmental competenciesEscorting patients to departments such as x-ray and theatresMaintaining department cleanliness, tidiness and stock levelsTraining and supporting new and junior team membersSupporting the registered nursing team in high-quality pre- and post-operative carePerson Specification

Qualifications
