Responsibilities

Assist the clinical team during physiological investigations in the Anorectal Physiology Unit

Ensure patients are properly cared for, maintain privacy and dignity

Support patient lists to run smoothly

Incorporate infection prevention and control, moving and handling of patients, continence management, and safeguarding of adults and children

Support the delivery of holistic patient care under the supervision of Clinical Nurse Specialists

Carry out tasks related to direct patient care, record vital signs, and assist with investigations

Qualifications

Essential: Level 2 English and Math

Care Certificate achieved through NHS

Essential/Desirable qualifications and related training as listed in the original role description

Experience and Skills

Essential: experience as a Healthcare Support Worker within the NHS; effective communication and IT skills; compassionate, patient-centred care; time management and teamwork

Desirable: additional healthcare qualifications (e.g., Level 3 in Health and Social Care), Tristel cleaning training
