Senior Health and Safety Advisor About the Opportunity A leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisor to support the successful delivery of a major UK infrastructure project. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving health, safety and wellbeing standards across complex construction activities. You will work closely with project directors, operational teams and client stakeholders to ensure compliance, promote best practice and foster a culture where everyone goes home safe every day. Key Responsibilities Lead and promote best practice in Health, Safety and Wellbeing across major infrastructure projects. Provide expert HSE advice and support to Directors, Project Managers, Supervisors and operational teams. Build strong working relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Deliver HandS improvement programmes, campaigns and behavioural safety initiatives. Conduct site inspections, audits and workplace surveillance to ensure legislative and company compliance. Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventative actions. Analyse HandS performance data, identify trends and develop continuous improvement plans. Review and approve RAMS, HandS plans and contractor documentation. Support the delivery of project inductions and workforce engagement programmes. Mentor and support junior Health and Safety Advisors where required. Produce reports, ..... full job details .....
