Senior Health & Safety Advisor – Highways & Infrastructure
Peterborough & Surrounding Areas | Up to £65,000 + Car/Allowance + Benefits

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to take ownership of safety across highways and civil engineering projects in the Peterborough region.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with site teams, drive best practice, and be a trusted point of contact for all safety matters. You’ll have the freedom to shape a positive safety culture while supporting projects that keep communities moving.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading on-site safety support, inspections, and audits

• Making sure projects meet HSE standards and legislation

• Supporting and guiding incident investigations

• Working with site teams to embed a proactive safety culture

What we’re looking for

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent)

• Experience in constructuction - ideally highways or infrastructure projects

• Strong communication and influencing skills

• A full UK driving licence
