This is an exciting opportunity to join a FTSE 100 company as their Senior Group Financial Reporting Manager. It’s a 10 month FTC based in their Central London office with hybrid working.
This would suit a qualified accountant, who trained in audit, with 5 years post-qualified experience. The candidates must have previous experience working on a group consolidation, ideally in a PLC/listed business.
Main focus of the role
Oversight of Group-Level Accounting Areas:
Accountable for key technical accounting matters and critical judgments across the Group, including asset and goodwill impairment reviews, adjusting items, segmental disclosures, share-based compensation, and pension schemes.
Finance Lead on Strategic Projects:
Acted as the primary Group Finance contact on cross-functional project teams.
Technical Accounting Expertise:
As part of the Senior Group Team, provide commercially focused, technically sound accounting advice. Support major strategic programmes, corporate transactions and new business ventures.
Audit Committee Engagement:
Contribute to the drafting and review of Audit Committee papers relating to complex and judgmental accounting issues, ensuring clarity, compliance, and alignment with IFRS and corporate governance expectations.
