Senior GNC Systems Engineer

An innovative organisation operating at the forefront of the space sector is seeking a Senior GNC Systems Engineer to contribute to the design, development, integration and verification of advanced Guidance, Navigation and Control systems for complex satellite missions. This is a highly technical opportunity to work on GNC, computer vision and spacecraft control technologies. You will play a key role in shaping subsystem architectures and delivering solutions from early design through to verification and on-orbit operations. The Role Key responsibilities will include:Contributing to the development of GNC systems, including requirements, FDIR and VandV strategies.Integrating GNC algorithms, computer vision and GNC hardware with the wider spacecraft platform.Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure GNC performance and system compatibility.Planning and executing GNC subsystem verification and testing.Leading GNC subsystem review gates and contributing to wider mission reviews.Conducting research into emerging GNC technologies, algorithms and hardware.Performing subsystem-level design, analysis and technical trade-offs.Supporting GNC algorithm development, hardware selection and integration for RPO missions.Contributing to GNC software architecture and operational flight software solutions.Working with customers and suppliers to define requirements and develop technical solutions.Supporting technical and programme leadership.
