Senior Geotechnical / Geo-Environmental Engineer The Role An exciting opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical / Geo-Environmental Engineer to take ownership of projects, deliver high-quality technical work, and support junior team members. This role offers exposure to a wide variety of geotechnical and environmental projects, with strong opportunities for career development and progression. Responsibilities Plan and manage ground investigations including trial pits, boreholes, sampling and in-situ testing Log soils and rocks to BS5930 and collect soil, rock, and groundwater samples Undertake contaminated land assessments (Phase I to IV) in line with regulations and best practice Develop conceptual site models and undertake quantitative risk assessments Support environmental services including CEMPs, MMPs, earthworks specifications, and waste classification/management Carry out ground gas and groundwater monitoring and interpretation Prepare clear, high-quality technical reports Ensure compliance with HandS / CDM regulations and environmental permitting requirements Liaise with clients, regulators, contractors, and other stakeholders What You ll Need Degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline 3+ years experience in geotechnical or geo-environmental projects Demonstrable site investigation and technical reporting experience Knowledge of British Standards, Eurocodes, and environmental legislation Strong attention to detail ..... full job details .....
