Senior Geotechnical Engineer

I am working with one the UK's most well known specialist contractors in recruiting a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for the North/North West and Midlands.

I have worked with this contractor for more than 10 years now and they have been on an upward trajectory during this time. With a current turnover of around the £100 m mark, their continued success and security is assured.

Ideally candidates will comes from an earthworks/remediation contracting background and will have a stable track record of success in the geotechnical field.

You will be involved at both the pre and post-contract stages in feasibility, planning and contract delivery and will be working on Projects in the N/NW and the Midlands. Your working week will be split between the office and on site.

Candidates will need a relevant degree, have chartered status or be working towards this and a minimum 5 years experience in the industry.

It is essential that you have the certificates listed below:

CSCS card – White (Academically Qualified).

Asbestos Awareness.

Cable Avoidance Tools (CAT & Genny).

Manual Handling.

These listed below would be advantageous but not essential:

ICE Earthworks – Theory & Practice

Non-Licensable Work with Asbestos including NNLW/Working Within Licensed Area – If required.

Respirator Face Fit Test (half mask) – if required.

First Aid at Work (3 day).

Fire Marshal.

SEATS/Environmental Awareness.
