An established and growing Edinburgh-based engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a talented and driven Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a key technical and leadership role, contributing to a range of exciting and challenging developments across Scotland.Responsibilities
Lead Phase 1 and Phase 2 geo-environmental assessments and reportingDesign, manage, and interpret site investigationsPrepare and review risk assessments and remediation strategiesProvide technical input to planning and development projectsLiaise with clients, regulators, and contractorsMentor junior engineers and support team developmentEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsRequirements
Degree qualified in Environmental Science, Geology, Civil Engineering, or similarMinimum 5 years\'' experience in a geo-environmental consultancy roleStrong technical knowledge of contaminated land, ground conditions, and site investigation techniquesExperience with risk assessment tools and remediation planningExcellent communication and report-writing skillsFull UK driving licenceWhat’s On Offer
