Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer

Our client, an established consultancy operating across the geo-environmental and ground investigation sectors, is seeking a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer to join its Greater Manchester office on a permanent basis. This is an opportunity for a technically capable professional with a strong geology background to manage projects, support business development and contribute to the growth of a successful consultancy team.Key Responsibilities:Design, coordinate and oversee ground investigation and geo-environmental projects from tender stage through to completionManage project delivery, budgets, timescales, contracts and commercial performancePrepare and review desk studies, factual reports, interpretative assessments and other technical documentationProvide technical input into tenders, quotations and pre-qualification questionnairesDevelop and maintain effective relationships with clients and identify new business opportunitiesSupport the delivery of high standards in health and safety, environmental protection and quality assuranceMentor and support engineers, junior staff and site-based teamsContribute to the continual improvement of business processes and professional servicesJob Requirements:Significant experience in ground investigation, geo-environmental consultancy or a related disciplineDegree qualification in Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering or a related subjectStrong understanding of geology, contaminated land and ..... full job details .....
