As the South West business continues to grow, we''re looking for an experienced Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to help lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, commercial, residential and brownfield development projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected consultancy where you''ll have the autonomy to manage projects, build client relationships and mentor junior engineers, while working on technically challenging and rewarding schemes.

The Role

This is a varied position combining site work with office-based technical delivery. You''ll manage projects from initial investigation through to detailed interpretation, risk assessment and reporting, ensuring high-quality technical solutions are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Your Responsibilities

• Managing geoenvironmental and geotechnical projects from start to finish.
• Designing and supervising ground investigations.
• Producing and reviewing technical reports and contaminated land risk assessments.
• Interpreting ground investigation data and recommending practical engineering solutions.
• Managing project programmes, budgets and client relationships.
• Mentoring and supporting graduate and junior engineers.
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams.

About You

You''ll have consultancy experience delivering geoenvironmental projects and be confident managing both technical work and client relationships.

You''ll also have:

• A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Excellent technical reporting and communication skills.
• Experience managing site investigations and contaminated land assessments.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Chartered status, or actively working towards it, is desirable.
