The scheme involves replacing an existing single-lane crossing into a new two-lane bridge, alongside improved pedestrian and cycle provision. The project offers a varied heavy civil engineering environment, including piling, retaining structures, earthworks, highways, scour protection and temporary works. This is a key site-based role for a Senior General Foreman who is confident leading operatives and subcontractors across complex infrastructure works. With construction taking place within a sensitive river and countryside environment, the role will have a strong focus on safe delivery, environmental management, quality and maintaining programme.
