Senior General Foreman - Heavy CivilsLocation: CumbriaRate: £400-£450 per dayContract: Freelance / ContractDuration: Six weeks initially, with potential follow on projectsStart date: OctoberHours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-7:00pmAn experienced Senior General Foreman is required to manage the site delivery of a specialist heavy civil engineering package in Cumbria.The initial project involves shaft construction using a caisson method. Further shaft, tunnelling and civil engineering packages are expected to follow, creating the potential for continued work beyond the initial six week programme.Reporting to the Project Manager, the Senior General Foreman will take day to day responsibility for site operations, directly managing approximately five or six operatives working across two gangs.There will not be an additional supervisor beneath the General Foreman.
