Must be able to gain and maintain the highest level of UK Government clearanceOpportunity OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join a skilled team working on innovative and complex technology solutions within the defence and security sectors.In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining critical frontend applications that support key services. You will work on a variety of challenging projects and contribute to delivering solutions with real-world impact in a hybrid and flexible working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop robust, scalable frontend applications using modern technologies and best practicesParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to deployment and testingCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product owners, backend developers and QAMentor and support junior developers to help grow the team''s capability and technical expertiseEssential Skills and ExperienceExperience as a Software Developer with a strong focus on frontend JavaScript development, preferably within the React ecosystemStrong knowledge of HTML and CSS and proven ability to develop modular frontend experiencesExperience collaborating with non-technical partners such as User Experience teams, and presenting work to stakeholdersFamiliarity with CI/CD, containerisation, deployment technologies and cloud platforms such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker and AWSExcellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skillsExperience working in Agile environments is advantageousAbility to obtain and maintain the highest level of UK Government security clearanceUK citizenship is essential due to security clearance requirementsWhat''s on OfferFlexible working arrangements including hybrid and remote optionsOptional compressed working schedule (e.g. every other Friday off)Competitive salary with performance-related bonusesPrivate healthcare and pension schemesOpportunities for career development, mentorship and ongoing trainingAn inclusive and supportive working environmentApplication ProcessIf you are ready to progress your career and contribute to important projects, please contact
