      <description>Location: Sheffield | Salary: &amp;pound;45000 - &amp;pound;60000/annum | Type: Permanent | Senior Flood Risk Engineer - Sheffield    Salary:  -45,000 - -60,000 (depending on experience)  An established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Flood Risk Engineer to join its growing civil engineering team in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to take a lead role in the delivery of Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategies and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) designs for a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments across the UK.  Working alongside civil, structural and environmental specialists, you will manage projects from initial feasibility through to planning and detailed design while supporting the development of junior engineers within the team.   The Role    Lead the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) for a wide range of development projects.  Produce drainage strategies and detailed surface water management solutions in accordance with current UK standards.  Design Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) using industry best practice and national guidance.
