      <description>Location: Exeter | Salary: &amp;pound;50000 - &amp;pound;60000/annum | Type: Permanent | Senior Flood Risk Consultant    Exeter    -50,000 - -60,000   A leading environmental consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Flood Risk Consultant to join its growing Exeter team. This is a technical role suited to an experienced flood risk professional with a strong background in hydraulic modelling, hydrology and flood risk assessment, looking to take on greater responsibility across a varied project portfolio.   The Role   You will work on a range of flood risk and water environment projects, providing technical input from initial assessment through to detailed modelling and reporting. The role will involve working closely with clients, regulators and multidisciplinary teams, as well as supporting more junior members of the team.  Key responsibilities will include:   Undertaking flood risk assessments for residential, commercial and infrastructure developments.  Developing and reviewing 1D and 2D hydraulic models.  Carrying out hydrological assessments and flood flow estimation.  Using modelling packages such as TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, HEC-RAS or InfoWorks ICM.
