The role will focus on hydrology, hydraulic modelling and flood risk assessment , working across a range of development, infrastructure and catchment-based projects. The Role Deliver Flood Risk Assessments, hydrological assessments and hydraulic modelling studies . Develop and interpret 1D and 2D hydraulic models using software such as HEC-RAS, TUFLOW and Flood Modeller. Undertake hydrological analysis using FEH, ReFH2 and other industry-standard methodologies . Assess flood extents, depths, velocities and climate change scenarios. Prepare technical reports, modelling outputs and supporting documentation. Provide technical input into flood risk management, flood alleviation and catchment projects . Liaise with clients, regulators, local authorities and other stakeholders. Support junior staff through technical guidance and mentoring.
