      <description>Location: Norwich | Salary: &amp;pound;40000 - &amp;pound;50000/annum | Type: Permanent | My client a market leading Environmental and Engineering Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Consultant to join their Water Team based in Norwich.   Alternative offices available in London and Essex.       Candidates are required to have a strong academic background (BSc and/or MSc) in hydrology, flood risk, water resources , GIS or civil engineering and experience completing flood risk assessments, hydraulic modelling or drainage strategies.          You will also be required to have excellent written and verbal communication skills to write reports and liaise with Clients to discuss project progress.    As a Senior Flood Risk Consultant you will join an experienced team to complete varied hydrological, flood risk, hydraulic modelling and drainage projects for residential, commercial and leisure developments for Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients across the UK.    You will be expected to manage projects, mentor team members, check and complete varied technical work.  You will be expected to complete;   Flood risk assessments.   GIS mapping.     Surface water management plans  Catchment management plans  Hydraulic modelling using Tuflow and Flood Modeller  D...</description>
