Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant

My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy with offices based across the UK, who specialise in low carbon builds and natural flood management, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their team in Bristol. This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an innovative team who specialise in low carbon builds, flood risk, hydrology, air quality and landscape architecture. With a wide portfolio of projects, you will have the chance to design flood risk and drainage solutions for Residential, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare, Renewables and Education Sectors for both public and private sector clients, with sustainability and carbon-reduction at the core of innovation. As a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer you will be required to complete varied technical work including; -Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3. -Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS. -SuDS Strategies.-Drainage, attenuation and SuDS design using infodrainage and causeway flow. -Hydraulic modelling using flood modeller and Tuflow.-Design of sustainable drainage solutions for residential, commercial, healthcare, retail and educational projects. -Natural flood management.-Client meetings to discuss project progress, on occasion. -Support team members, grow and develop the team.
